johnny is a very light-hearted and non-serious guy, often cracking jokes or laughing at completely baffling things that others would see as odd, or sad. they don't take their feelings serious a lot of the time, passing negative emotions as something that will just "blow over". with time, this behavior has gotten better, and so has he. johnny is often very avoidant of stuff that needs to be done, mainly appointments, school, and other very important things. this may be due to his adhd, but they try their best to make an effort. he's very loving when it comes to his family, interests, and his boyfriend, ritz! they are very caring and protective when it comes to who they love, and would beat the shit out of any person who dares to come between him and the people he cares about. especially ritz. he's very protective of him, and would ramble on and on about him whatever chance he gets.

first met on an online forum for a. game.. under pseudos. flash forward to a few years later, ritz is illegally universe traveling, as stupid teenagers do! when he crashes into a party. there’s johnny and they make small talk. before they know it, they are friends, fighting a case together. as things progress, their friendship just keeps on blooming, and johnny wins the case with ritz and an assigned lawyer’s help. their friendship begins to slowly transform into something more, and a lot of. Tension. just keeps on getting stronger between them. eventually, after a lot of. “Jokes”. they make out. and they become the thingiest thing of them all.
